The context
Running a tournament means coordinating athletes, teams, categories, capacity and payments. The product needed to connect that journey and handle competition rules.
The decisions
We built the product with Next.js and TypeScript, from athlete and administration areas to Mercado Pago integration. We implemented temporary slot reservations, payment reconciliation, bracket algorithms and Jest and Playwright tests.
What changed
An independently built platform already used in four real tournaments. An end-to-end experience for organizers and athletes.
